Enfield Tales has lots of plans to expand the many tales of Enfield as a place, as well as the tale our fabulous beast.

There are plans afoot for a little book on the Enfield beast as well as ideas for a civic sculpture (see the sneak peek below) and there is already a ‘living’ Enfield puppet that continues to visit schools where it helps teach a wealth of local history.

In 1961 Enfield’s new civic centre became home to a high-flying Enfield beast sculpture, created by R. Bentley Claughton. There are now plans for a beast sculpture trail and the hope is the Council will take this up as part of new local developments.
